Holi, the festival of colors, is a joyous occasion for our members, volunteers, and invited guests. Together, we celebrate with colors, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere. A cultural program featuring music and dance is organized, and everyone enjoys delicious meals and sweets, fostering a warm and inclusive environment filled with laughter and happiness.
Foundation Day
April 20th, marking our organization’s inception, is celebrated with pride and emotion. We hold an appreciation event to honor our dedicated members and express gratitude to our supporters and volunteers for their contributions. This special day renews our commitment and motivates us to pursue our mission with unity and enthusiasm.
World Press Freedom Day
On May 3rd, World Press Freedom Day, we commemorate the crucial role of a free press. Programs are organized to emphasize the importance of press freedom and to advocate for government support of this fundamental right. This day serves as a reminder of the free press’s role in society and reinforces our commitment to protecting it.
Hindi Patrakarita Diwas
Each year, on May 30th, we observe Hindi Journalism Day, honoring Pandit Jugal Kishore, the pioneer of Hindi journalism who started the first Hindi newspaper, Udant Martand, in Kolkata. Members gather to celebrate his legacy and recognize his contributions to Hindi journalism. Our president delivers an inspiring speech to motivate us to carry on his vision and uphold the values he established.
